Friday Factoid – 02.21.20 – Mardi Gras

During February, people in New Orleans enjoy large and festive Mardi Gras parades and parties. The parades occur during the two weeks leading up to Mardi Gras, the day before Ash Wednesday (when Lent begins). The parades provide a great opportunity to witness decorative floats, elaborate costumes, original music and other forms of creative artistic expression.
